Bhuiamla (Phyllanthus amarus)

Bhuiamla is a very common broad spectrum magical medicinal herb native to India. It grows as weed throughout the hotter part of country. During rainy season, you can find it growing abundantly in gardens, waste lands, parks, along roadsides, open areas, etc. There are many Medicinal use of Bhui Amla.

Studies have shown this herb to have the following actions:-

Prevent hepatic fat deposition: Decrease de novo lipogenesis, inhibit triglycerides (TG) esterification and enhance free fatty acids (FFAs) oxidation by increasing the expression of FFAs oxidative genes in the liver, leading to significant reduction of hepatic lipid accumulation

Anti-viral: Egallic acid in Bhuiamla Suppresses hepatitis virus replication by inhibiting 50% of DNA polymerase and elimination of surface antigen

Hepatoregenrative: Bhuiamla induce DNA synthesis and support liver regeneration by increasing the levels of synthesizing nucleic acid enzymes in hepatocytes.

Hepatoregenrative: Bhuiamla assures liver protection, acting as anti-oxidant, accelerates repair and regeneration of liver cells.
